About Us
The Bermuda Medical Doctors Association is an amalgamation of the now defunct Bermuda Medical Society and the Bermuda Medical Association. Subsequently, the two organizations combined to form The Bermuda Medical Doctors Association.
The amalgamation of the two previous societies represents the commitment of physicians to join as one voice and focus on equality for all practicing physicians regardless of race, social/financial status, educational background and medical specialty.
We are a membership organization comprising of and representing, community physicians, hospital physicians, government physicians, students, residents and work permit physicians.

Support and Advocacy for Physicians
We are committed to supporting and advocating for all physicians in Bermuda, ensuring they have the necessary resources and representation to provide top-quality health care.
Inclusive Membership Across Specialties
We welcome physicians from all backgrounds, including community-based, hospital-based, Bermudian, non-Bermudian, GPs, Family Medicine practitioners, and all subspecialties, fostering a united and diverse professional community.
Strength in Diversity for a Common Purpose
Our diverse membership is our strength. By bringing together different specialties and backgrounds, we aim to collectively improve health care for all people living in Bermuda.
